1 · Authorization to Repair
Customer hereby authorizes Go Auto Salmar (Shop) to perform the repairs, services, and/or inspections described on the vehicle identified above. Customer warrants they are the legal owner or have full authority to authorize repairs.
2 · Estimates and Additional Work
The estimate provided is an approximation, not a guaranteed final price. If additional repairs or parts are necessary, the Shop will contact the Customer for approval before proceeding. Oral authorizations are binding and will be memorialized on this Work Order.
3 · Payment Terms
Payment in full is due upon completion of repairs and prior to release of the vehicle. Accepted forms include cash, credit/debit card, or other forms approved by the Shop. Returned checks subject to $35 fee plus bank charges.
4 · Mechanic's Lien — Texas Transportation Code §70.001 et seq.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Go Auto Salmar expressly reserves a possessory mechanic's and artisan's lien on the vehicle for all charges for labor, parts, materials, storage, and services performed.
If charges remain unpaid, the Shop is authorized to: (a) retain possession of the vehicle until paid in full; (b) file a mechanic's lien with TxDMV; (c) proceed with lien foreclosure sale after proper notice; (d) pursue all other remedies including attorney's fees and court costs.
5 · Storage Fees
Vehicles not retrieved within 48 hours after notification of completion may incur storage fees per day until retrieved.
6 · Insurance Repairs
Customer remains personally responsible for all charges not covered or approved by their insurance carrier, including deductibles and betterment.
7 · Liability for Personal Property
Go Auto Salmar is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property left in the vehicle. Remove valuables before drop-off.
8 · Limited Warranty on Repairs
Repair work is warranted against defects in workmanship for a period stated at completion. Warranty excludes damage from accident, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, or wear. Customer-supplied parts are not warranted.
9 · Authority to Operate Vehicle
Customer authorizes the Shop and its employees to operate the vehicle for testing, inspection, or delivery. Shop maintains liability insurance as required by Texas law.
10 · Governing Law
Governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes resolved in Montgomery County, Texas courts.
